The Lightning Talks, which will be organized by the IEEE Magnetics Society Young Professionals, is setting a challenge – to present your research in an understandable manner to an audience outside of your field.
The event will consist of a set of short 3-minute talks presented by young professionals in magnetism (from Postdocs to Asst. Professors and industry) followed by an audience feedback as well a panel discussion.

This panel is a special evening event that follows the symposium “What is the place of magnetic materials in tomorrow’s chips” on Thursday afternoon. The major goal of the panel is to identify the opportunities and challenges for the applications of magnetism and magnetic materials in future chip technologies. The panel is organized by the IEEE Magnetics Society Technical Committee and will be co-chaired by Masahiro Yamaguchi (Tohoku University, Japan) and Paolo Bortolotti (Thales Research & Technology, France). It is open to all the conference participants.
